Head of AI Studio
Wessam Hassan leads TURN8's AI Studio, the engine that designs and builds agentic AI systems for TURN8 and its corporate partners. The Studio is built on a simple premise: a corporate's real moat in AI is its own data and workflows. So it builds systems that are AI-native from the ground up, designed around that data, and deployed wherever that data is allowed to live: cloud, on-premise, or fully private environments. Those systems draw on the venture-building workflows TURN8 has refined since 2013, encoded into a proprietary AI platform that partners access through the Studio.
Wessam brings a production machine learning background to the Studio. Before TURN8, he worked as an engineer at startups across the GCC, building production identity verification systems and predictive ML models. He works across the full stack of modern AI systems, from closed-model APIs to open-weight models served on private infrastructure. He holds a BS in Information Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.
