The foundation courses provide strategic direction for the board and executive team, while also developing clinical capabilities among the physicians responsible for delivering the service.

C0Board briefing · 2 hours

The Longevity Decision: Board Briefing

The briefing provides a rationale for the board, executive committee, and stakeholders to consider investing in a longevity business. It outlines the definition of the category, sources of demand, common reasons for program failure, and the key decision to be addressed.

Leaves with: A shared board position on whether to pursue a longevity business, supported by a written summary of the rationale.

C1Executive · 1 day

Longevity Is a Venture, Not a Service Line

The Longevity as a Venture program is jointly led by a venture builder, a longevity physician, and a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The morning session examines these businesses’ operating models, while the afternoon session guides participants in developing an initial model based on their own assets.

Leaves with: An initial venture model, an investment thesis for the executive committee, and a clear view of the questions to resolve before building.

C2Clinical · 2.5 days

Longevity Medicine for Clinicians

The clinical program trains an institution’s physicians together, in the same room, on the practice of longevity medicine. It covers assessment, diagnostics, intervention protocols, and the evidence behind each, so the institution leaves with one clinical standard rather than several.

Leaves with: A single clinical standard adopted across the physician team, reinforced by case reviews at 30, 60, and 90 days.

The eleven programs

The catalog is organized into three families. Foundation courses establish strategic direction. Business model courses test whether the economics hold in your industry. Design workshops convert an existing asset into a longevity business.

Built with you, not for you

TURN8 is the venture operating partner for global corporates and sovereign-linked institutions. The Longevity Practice is the flagship sector practice of its Venture Building engine, and every course in the catalog draws on the method it applies to live mandates.

Your team builds it

Approximately seventy percent of every workshop is spent applying the method to your own organization, so the assumptions are owned by the team that will defend them.

Practitioners in the room

Every course is led by an Operating Partner, a Physician, and a CTO, so commercial, clinical, and technology questions specific to your organization are resolved during the session rather than deferred.

Validated in writing

TURN8 researches and validates the plan your team drafts, returning a written assessment within two weeks that confirms which assumptions held, which did not, and the recommended next step.

Track record

TURN8 and its founding team have built 120+ ventures and deployed $500M+ since 2013.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a longevity business, and how is it different from a wellness program?

A wellness program sells a single visit, like a spa hour, a treatment or an annual checkup. A longevity business sells a continuing relationship: a membership, diagnostics repeated over years, and support between visits. Revenue keeps coming in whether or not the member is in the building. TURN8 treats longevity as a venture with its own model and governance, not as a service line added to an existing operation.

What longevity courses does TURN8 offer?

The TURN8 Longevity Practice offers eleven programs in three families:

  • Foundation programs: a board briefing, a one-day executive program and a clinical program for physicians.
  • Business model courses: one each for hospitals, hotels and resorts, and real estate developers.
  • Design workshops: five workshops that turn an asset you already hold into a longevity business.

The programs serve hospitals and health systems, hotel and resort groups, real estate developers and branded residences.

Where should my organization start?

Most organizations start with the one-day executive program, “Longevity Is a Venture, Not a Service Line.” Boards that want the argument before committing a full day can start with the two-hour board briefing. The programs run in order: learn and plan, assess, design, then build. Each step produces what the next one needs, and no program obliges you to take the next.

How are the programs delivered, and how long do they take?

Every program is delivered on site at your location, or at a venue you choose, anywhere in the world. Programs run from two hours to two and a half days. Cohorts are ten to twenty participants from a single organization. The board briefing takes four to eight. Programs are scheduled on fifteen days’ notice.

How much do the longevity programs cost?

Fees depend on the program and the cohort size. Most programs have a base fee plus a per-participant fee. The clinical program is priced per physician. Faculty travel is charged at cost, and programs can be commissioned by purchase order and invoice. The full price list is available on request from longevity@turn8.co.

Is there a longevity medicine course for physicians?

Yes. Longevity Medicine for Clinicians is a two-and-a-half-day program that trains an institution’s physicians together, so the team leaves working to one clinical standard. Every intervention taught is classified as established care, evidence-informed practice or investigational. The program includes case reviews at 30, 60 and 90 days and twelve months of updates. The certificate records the program and the hours completed. It does not confer a specialty or extend scope of practice.

What is the TURN8 Longevity Venture Readiness and Ambition Assessment?

It assesses whether your organization can support a longevity business across six areas: clinical, commercial, operational, regulatory, capital and resources. It returns a readiness report, a concept note and a clear recommendation. It is required before any design workshop and recommended before any business model course. Its fee is credited in full against the course or workshop that follows.

How can a hospital build a self-pay longevity or prevention business?

Most hospitals already have the imaging, the laboratory and private-pay executive health patients who are seen once a year. Three programs serve hospitals:

  • The Longevity Business Model for Hospitals builds the business case on your own cost base.
  • From Executive Health to a Longevity Business turns annual exams into a continuing relationship.
  • From Patient Care to Self-Pay Prevention designs a business for people who have not been referred and are not ill.
How can a hotel or resort turn its spa into a longevity business?

A spa sells an hour. A longevity business sells a program, and then the year that follows it. The Longevity Business Model for Hotels and Resorts builds a membership model on your own rate, occupancy and channel mix. The design workshop “From Resort Wellness to a Longevity Business” turns your existing wellness floor into a program business. It also answers how to deliver clinical capability without becoming a clinic.

How can a real estate developer build a longevity community?

A health proposition can raise the price and the sales speed of every unit, and it can earn from residents after handover. The Longevity Business Model for Real Estate Developers decides whether to license a brand, appoint an operator or build your own. Two design workshops cover the masterplan:

  • From Real Estate Masterplan to Longevity Community is for developers whose land use is still open.
  • From an Approved Masterplan to Longevity Community is for developers already in detailed design. It finds the changes that are still cheap to make.
