Yousif Al Mutawa is the co-founder and Managing Partner of TURN8 Venture Capital. He leads the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) advisory practice. Prior to joining TURN8, he served as DP World’s group Chief Information Officer (CIO) for 8 years where he managed their global IT organization, established innovation practices, including Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) with a corporate accelerator and led an internal entrepreneurial transformation for its internal corporate culture. His past roles also included CIO for Dubai World Group, Vice President for DU Telecom, Head of Dubai eGovernment IT, an e-Business and an Internet professional for various companies in the US and a co-founder for 1 startup in the Silicon Valley. He holds a BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from California State University, Sacramento, USA.
